Placement Cell

Introduction

The Placement Cell of Bangabasi Morning College, Kolkata creates a platform where students can showcase their talents, which different companies seek to explore and utilize. Starting from 2014, we have placed a large section of graduates who have appeared for placements. The Placement Cell is headed by Principal Dr. Amitava Dutta and the Coordinator of the cell. The Cell is led by the Placement officer along with the Placement Advisory Board, which consists of teaching staff and final year students from various departments.

The job scenario today is facing the onslaught of ground breaking competition from all fields, and employment in good companies and organizations has become a daunting task. So, for the benefit of its students preparing to face the job market, the Bangabasi Morning College Placement Cell has risen to the occasion and has aided in providing opportunities and employment to its outgoing students.

With the relentless support of the staff and the students associated with the placement cell and most significantly Principal Dr. Amitava Dutta at the helm, we strive to reach a step closer to our ultimate goal of getting the maximum number of placements for our students.

A great number of new as well as regular companies visited our college for Placement every year. Companies such as Cognizant- an information technology company, ICICI Foundation, ICA Edu Skills Ultadanga Centre, UVM Tech, Edudelphi Education and many others have contributed towards student's placement and welfare. We have placed students through on-campus drives and off-campus interviews from different departments.
There is a great deal of enthusiasm among final year students when the placement season starts off. Students come forward with their queries regarding companies, placement procedures, and the Placement Cell members readily help them. The college rigorously supports placement related activities and encourages student's welfare. The cell expects to collaborate with more companies in the near future.
