He has been teaching History at under-graduate Honours and General levels in the Department of History, Bangabasi Morning College,Kolkata on a full-time basis.

He has to his credit a research publication entitled, ‘Swami Vivekananda:The Voice of a True Sociologist on Human Rights’ published in ‘The Rite of Wrongs: Human Rights in India (2013) ed by Dr. Ajanta Paul (conceptualized and sponsored by Women’s Christian College, Kolkata),ISBN 978-93-80761-33-6. He also presented a paper entitled ‘Vivekananda: A Journey from religion to Human Rights’ at a UGC Sponsored seminar organized by Acharya Prafulla Chandra College,Kolkata in 2013.
