Research Extension:
To study the molecular and signalling pathways related to cancer by using alternative medicines against differential cancers, alternative drug development and use against differential cancers both in vitro and in vivo models.

Joined as ‘Contractual Whole Time Teacher (CWTT)’ in Dept. of Zoology, Bangabasi Morning College on 19th August, 2014 till date.

- Selected for Travel Award for basic part in the AMS Award 2015 in “Ethanolic extract of Marsdenia condurango ameliorates benzo[a]pyrene-induced lung cancer of rats”, Journal of Pharmacopuncture, held at New Zealand.
- Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. degree) in Zoology on 4th July, 2014 under New Regulation, 2009.
- Selected for the award of ‘INSPIRE Fellowship’ to the Research Students (220) sponsored by DST. This is recognition to the first rank holders in the Post Graduate Degree in Natural Sciences of any recognized Indian University or Institute for pursuing Doctoral Programme in Science and Technology, New Delhi- 110016, Govt. of India.
- Received research fellowship for the project entitled as “A comprehensive study on arsenic toxicity and its amelioration by administration of ultra-low doses of homeopathic drugs” from Boiron Laboratory, Lyon, France, under the supervision of Prof. A.R. Khuda-Bukhsh, K.U. for three years (i.e., August, 2010-July, 2013).
- Qualified Research Eligibility Test (RET) with six months Ph.D. Course work–end examination in 2012 as per the ‘New Regulations’ from the Department of Zoology, University of Kalyani.
- Enjoyed Senior Research Fellowship from “National Agricultural Innovation Project” (NAIP) entitled “Study on herbal acaricides as means to overcome the development of resistance in ticks to conventional acaricides” at Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Eastern Regional Station, Kolkata (22nd October, 2008-14th August, 2009).
