The department of Economics is an integral part of Bangabasi Morning College, since its inception as an independent college in 1965. Teachers of the department take Economics classes of B.A./ B.Sc (General) and B.Com (Honours and General) courses. Our teaching method includes lectures, quiz, power point presentation, etc. Teachers often need to deliver lectures in three languages—English, Hindi and Bengali, as students come from diverse backgrounds. We also organize seminar lectures by eminent academicians. Teachers are easily accessible for the students. Students can consult books from the College Library.
