UGC sponsored National Conference on Biophysics: Impact on today’s Society was organised by Victoria Institution (College) on September 7-8, 2016, in which Bangabasi Morning College collaborated with an enthusiastic attitude. Among the speakers were Professor (Dr.) G.C. Sadhukhan, Ex-Director, UGC Human Resource Development Centre, Jadavpur University, Dr. Manoj K. Chakrabarti, ICMR Emeritus Medical Scientist and Director-in-Charge, NICED, Kolkata, Dr. D. P. Duary, Director, Birla Planetarium and other eminent scientists and academicians. Two papers were presented from the Department of Zoology, Bangabasi Morning College. The conference was well attended by scholars, teachers and students to discuss the topics on a wide platform.
